Read aloud Tell Tale Heart  Go to classroom and open the PDF document to follow along.  

In the front of your English notebook answer the following questions:

  • What part of the story did you find most frightening?
  • Why did the narrator kill the old man?
  • Find 2 quotes that show the mood created by the narrator.


Check vocabulary in classroom for your historical novel.

In your table groups read and analyze Docs E,F and G.  Please do not write on the packet, but you can access a copy digitally.  
Make sure you answer all the questions in your packet.  

Make a claim  and back it up with one evidence from the documents.  Write the claim in your history notebook.

Take claim one from Monday, Claim 2 from Tuesday, and claim 3 from today.   Do all three of your claims match?  (They don't need to). 

Now make a master claim.  What is your overall claim from all six documents.  Write it down.
