Write a introduction and conclusion as to why the Mayans fail.  See template in classroom.

Once you have created you intro and conclusion share your documents with intro and 3 body paragraphs with a person at your table.  Get and give feedback and advice.

Look for:

• 1 claim per paragraph
• 2 pieces of evidence per paragraph
• claim source 
• one bridge per claim
• A counter-argument
• A turnback

Once you have feedback, take your advice look at the comments and incorporate them into a rough draft that you create.

Use both your Mayan papers to explain why the civilization failed.  You will first start by completing the table found in classroom.  You must have a "chicken foot" theory as to why they failed.  
Discuss two claims using evidence and provide a counter-argument.
